My children book

Dear Friends,

I apologize because I have not posted so much recently. But I show you the cause of it.
In the last 1,5 year I had worked on a children book that is has edited now by kultúrAktív Association. (The English homepage is under developping so now it is available in Hungarian, sorry.)

The Jewish Quarter of Pest for Children forms part of a set of workbooks titled Your City edited by kultúrAktív Association.
With this set of books kultúrAktív is determined to have the children investigate their own surroundings playfully so that they know their local values better and form it with more responsibility.
This book presents a complex image of the city including the architecture, the green areas, the personal aspects, the multicultural population, the institutes of the city management and infrastructure.
We propose our book to the 10-12 years old, primary school pupils, local children.

My partner in illustration and editing design was Mimma Nosek.
The editors of the series are Ágnes Sebestyén and Eszter Tóth.
The book is supported by NKA and Bálint Ház.
Thank you for the help of many friends of mine.

Language: Hungarian
Format: A5
Lightcover, mounted paper
Illustration rata: 60 %
92 pages
Price: 2600 HUF

If you would like to have one please contact me.
The book will be available in bookstores soon.

Knife in the water

I absolutely felt in love with Knife in the water shop. Its handmade printed textiles are so sensitive, so minimal, so perfect. I also love the very sophisticated photos and still lifes whit small details what the artist, Seung yun Yoo took. You can read Seung's story on Etsy's Featured Shop.

Shipping design of Pastel Manufactory

I love to prepare with nice shipping design for kind customers.
I always try to avoid needless packages which are bad for environments, but i like to find nice ways for wrapping or packing.
Unfortunatelly i do not put attractive but moderate small things on the envelopes, because of the likely injuries that can happen during shipping. Anyway maybe it is better to open the package surprising on the contect which hide something nice inside. :)
And do not forget about security! I use sturdy backing board for art prints and bubble envelope as well.

Crafty

Hello Dear!
In march i have started a new blog called Crafty. It is about the relationship of environmentally consciousness and design in the daily routine. I think many person like DIY and doing crafty things, and one of the core idea of sustainability is using the local sources - so why cant we use design as a tool to reorganise or reuse our environment's old or broken or just bored obejcts and meanwhile use our free source, our hands? We dont really need to buy always new products and feed consumerism if we have creativity.
I collect crafty ideas in according to philophosy of the blog to show taht some easy tips can resolve many kind of problemes. For example tips for gardening in small places. We have a new civic organisation in Hungary who organise public gardens - that is a georgous possibility to gardening for inhabitants who live in the cities without garden. This initiative is very popular so the parcels run out fastly. But you dont have to wait for others who organise something, you can grow small plants in a small corner of your flat as well.

I write the blog in Hungarian because I am planning to develope the local communities in Hungary, and after the puffer period to organise weekly crafty sessions for adults.
Now the blog and the project is under developping, but if you have any idea how to ameliorate it, please feel free to write me. I will be very thankfull. :)
