something new from garbage

The story of the handmade Rhythms Labels begin with the tests during printing my graphics. I was very sad to drop bad one copies out just because there were some bad details on good quality papers. so i decided to create something nice with these versions: i painted with watercolour on the print's faults to repair them and i just realised that something new was born. :)

miniature gardens and sweet cakes

Continueing the small cake series i has made 14 brooches during this week.
I have pearly ones and embroidery ones. The inspiration was an old staff from my university years (as rhythms also). When i have been to Marseille for a 3 months scholarship i had tried to create the Provencal countryside by textile works (natural flax for ever!). I didnt really finished this experiment even so i felt i have to do it.

Now i recreate this theme.

pincushions

i am a bit late in show you my new products so step by step. :)
in the last 2 weeks i have created 3 pincushions inspirated from nicely decorated sweet cakes, despite of this they look like rustic painted stones. :) never mind, i like them. :)

i have taken the pictures before going to work in the morning so you can enjoy the Hungarian very morning shines on the small cake pincushions. :)

my Rhythms series

I made experiment with connection of lines during my university years,  I refresh in a new form this old motive of mine - and during the process i realised it involves more than i expected...

Sometimes we need to zoom in and out to analyse ourself - have a look in deep inside to hear our body's vibrancy, and change the focus to see the big picture of the world. In the examination we can realise that everything connect in a way - as on this prints the lines. Please feel free to sense the rhythm of your Soul and the rhythm of World. :)

Flax-Blue metal yarn Hamsas

I have created new Lucky Hanging Hamsas during this week. Basic is my favourite textile ever: Flax. I find a blue yarn combined with light gold metal yarn. I love it. I have this in green and red also. An other favourite, the light gold metal yarn gave an extra tone for stripes. And white, small pearls are the cream on the cake. Taste it!
